Each year Stein Fjell Lodge awards scholarships to help defray the cost of an accredited post-high-school educational institution. Two, one-time, up to $1000 scholarships are awarded: a Member-Nominated Scholarship to a Stein Fjell Lodge member or family member and a Community Scholarship to a student without lodge affiliation who lives in the area served by the lodge -- Greeley to Estes Park and Longmont to Cheyenne. If there is only one application received between the Member-Nominated and Community Scholarship Applications, that person will be awarded up to $1,500.
To apply, please use the appropriate link and complete the application form. Submit it no later than April 1. The recipient will be notified no later than April 22.

The Stein Fjell Memorial Scholarship Fund assists any Stein Fjell Lodge or affiliate member wishing to attend Norwegian language camps or other courses of study in Norwegian heritage, culture, or history, such as the Concordia Language Camp or Camp Norge. The application deadline is April 1; award(s) are announced by May 1.
If there are no qualified scholarship applicants, the funds, as grants, will offset up to 50% of the costs for members who have completed similar local cultural classes, such as Hardanger, rosemaling, woodcarving, and language courses.
